AITEN June Film Night - "War Dance"Sunday 28th Jun, 5PM start, Shimokitazawa.

We will be screening the documentary "War Dance", which follows a team of school kids from the Patongo refugee camp to Kampala, the capital of Uganda where they are competing in the nation's most prestigious music competition. Over the course of three months, the film focuses on three youngsters as they prepare for the event and discuss the horrors they have experienced and express their individual fears, hopes, and dreams.

Tokyo Screening of Mad Cow Sacred CowFriday 26th Jun, 9PM start, Shibuya
The Pink Cow in Shibuya, Tokyo will be screening Mad Cow Sacred Cow, depicting the personal journey of filmmaker Anand Ramayya, a self-professed meat eating Hindu.. Following the screening, Bhang Lassi, the group that wrote the soundtrack for the film will perform a live set.
