This is the famous piccolo trumpet duet at the end of a performance of Petrushka. It comes from an actual performance of the full ballet at Symphony Space in New York City.

My friend Norihiko Hibino and his wife Ryo have opened a new club in Roppongi, Tokyo. Norihiko is a monster musician/composer/producer (check out his website) I played there this weekend and it has a great, cozy "vibe". If you have time, please go and check it out. It's very near Roppongi Hills!!!

Take a look at their website! VANILLA MOOD

Bobby Shew (great jazz/lead trumpet player) was in Japan the last 2 weeks playing concerts and doing clinics everyday. I was able to go and hear him and hang out 4 times during his visit. It was so great to hear him.
