Sittin here in the humidity...sweatin'. 12:30am......been studying Japanese all evening......really enjoying it. Probably should have turned off the t.v. but, had to catch a new episode of HOUSE on FOX. Sky Perfect TV drives me crazy sometimes. While I was watching HOUSE, I had to endure the SAME commercial every 7-8 minutes. Hard for me to believe in a city the size of Tokyo, that there aren't more companies wanting to run ads on t.v.

CNN Japan really kills me. Everyday for the past 3-4 years they continue to run the same CNN-Iraq War promotional ad. They tell us how great the democracy is going to be for the Iraqi people, how historic their news coverage is of this event and then I have to watch a few hum-vees get blown up. They continue to run the same ad everyday. It's really not even a subtle attempt to brainwash people.

It's amazing to me that the US is still in Iraq. After all the lies, we are still in there.

I don't think it is worth 1 more life to continue that mess in Iraq. Democracy? Last I heard the majority of Americans wanted to pull out of Iraq. Seems like there is a handful in Washington that have some power and are keeping us in there. I thought we voted those people into office. I thought they were supposed to represent the majority. I guess I'm stupid. I thought that was how a democracy works.
